2027 interest list · Version 2027-v2 · Updated 21 October 2026
Who handles your information?
Marianwood Residence manages the information submitted through this website. Contact info@marianwoodres.co.za or 087 265 2020 for privacy questions, access requests, corrections or withdrawal of consent.
What we collect and why
We collect your name, email address, mobile number, intended institution, study stage, NSFAS/private interest and optional student number, together with the intake year, consent version, registration date and enquiry status. The optional student number helps staff identify your enquiry; it is not used here to check bursary eligibility. We use this information to manage your interest in 2027 accommodation and contact you about that enquiry. Joining is voluntary. Without these details we cannot register and follow up on your interest through this form.
Your consent
The form asks for your explicit consent and confirmation that you are 18 or older. Please do not submit another person’s information. Prospective students under 18 should contact us with a parent or guardian so we can discuss an appropriate process.
Access and storage
Access is limited to authorised residence staff and service providers needed to host and operate the site. We do not sell this list or use it for unrelated marketing. This form does not send an application to NSFAS. Links to external portals take you to services with their own privacy notices.
Retention and removal
The proposed retention period is until 31 March 2028, after the 2027 intake follow-up period, unless a lawful reason requires a different period. The team must review and remove records and related exports when they are no longer needed. You may request earlier deletion or withdraw consent by contacting us. Any necessary verification will be proportionate to your request.
Your rights
You may ask what information we hold, request correction or deletion where applicable, object to processing or withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not undo processing already lawfully carried out. You can raise a concern with South Africa’s Information Regulator.
Cookies and spam prevention
An essential session cookie protects forms and admin access. No advertising or analytics cookies are used. To limit abuse, we store a keyed hash derived from the connecting IP address with an attempt count and expiry time; expired entries are removed during routine maintenance. We do not ask for ID documents, banking details or NSFAS account credentials.
